When Namibia's national airline was liquidated in 2021, founders Deryn Zehrt and Heino Jakob lost their jobs as airline pilots and decided to try something completely new. An old family idea from one of the founders to produce popsicles and dopsicles™ was revived and they decided to take on this crazy, yet fun idea. Starting with very basic equipment and from a garage, Jet Blast Ice Pops products was instantly well received and liked by the public. In March 2022 Jet Blast acquired a property and turned it into a state of the art factory with modern equipment to help keep the Jet Blast products up to standard and also to meet demand, becoming the first commercially produced popsicles and dopsicles™ in Namibia.

We now have 3 permanent staff in the facotry and Dylan Gariseb, heading our events section.

Jet Blast manufactures popsicles with real fruit, milk based popsicles, dopsicles™, offer slush machine rentals, manufactures fruit slush mixes and also manufactures Nam Pops, an additional icy range available country wide.

Our products are available in retail stores, schools, at events and markets and to the public in bulk. Our main focus at this stage is around the Windhoek area.
